The main reason vertical lines are COF IC ( Chip On Film Integrated Circuit ) Failure.

COF IC's fail due to various reasons, such as:

Most of the COF IC's failures can be fixed by Ridaex Hyperlocal CAT 3 Service Engineers and there in no home remedy for the same.

Note: The COF IC can only be fixed if the vertical lines are formed from edge to edge of the panel. If the vertical line does not touch both the edges of the panel. The issue cannot be resolved, hence subjected to replace the entire panel.

The horizontal lines on any display device is caused due to the failure of Vertical Electronic Circuits on the edges.

The Audio Only and No Display issue is very common problem in many LED televisions. In this scenario, the backlight of the TV would have gone bad and failed to turn on, causing no light illumination.

1. High voltage supply from the backlight driver located in motherboard. Which is directly proportional to the high voltage supplied to the television.

Blurry screen appears to look like the whole screen is running short of light and colours in it.

The reasons for blurry screen are.
1. Dimming of backlight.
2. Old aged backlights.

3. If the colours and brightness are not calliberated well.

4. Application specific colour levels.

The problem has various solutions according to each case.

1. Dimming of backlight
Open the service mode with the help of Ridaex Hyperlocal Support on the call and change the backlight value.

2. Old aged backlight
If the LED TV is old enough, the life of the backlight would have reduced. It's recommended to replace the entire backlight kit.

3. Colour calibration
Open the menu mode in the LED TV and try to increase the brightness, play around a bit with the contrast levels, change picture modes.

4. Application based colours
If application based issues, you are always advised to contact the third party application support for relevant assistance.

Double image or ghost image looks like one image imitating the other. The problem is noticed majorly when one is sitting closer to the Smart TV rather than who are sitting far.

The main reason of double images are.
1. LVDS Cable not connected well or loose connections.

2. If the Graphic Processing Unit is not functioning well.

1. LVDS Cable not connected well or loose connection:

2. Graphic Processor Issue:

In some televisions, The grey screen with buzzing sound appears. Where as on other televisions and error notification is displayed on the screen as "No Signal"

1. If the data ports are not connected properly.
2. If any damage found in the data ports or cable.

3. If connection is good, But still the data is not passing through the connection from external device.

1. Data ports not connected properly:
Unplug the connection and replug to check if the connection is working.

2. Damage found in data ports are cable:
If damage found in data ports the ports need to be replaced by Hyperlocal Engineer. If the problem is detected with the data cable. Simply buy a new cable from local store and replace the same.

3. Data no passing from external device:
If the port is no damages, the data is not passing through the data cable, the problem might be with the external device connected to the Television. Such as DTH Connection or Cable Network Connection. Please do contact the DTH and Cable network provider.

Half grey screen looks like half of the screen i working perfectly and the rest half of the screen has horizontal lines.

Looks like the screen is either squeezed larger or compressed smaller.

The reason for Squeezed images are:
1. Aspect Ratio Settings

2. Application is does not attain responsive design.
3. Screen scaling is configured properly not done - In Arya Series TVs Only

4. The content being played is shot and edited in different aspect ratio.

Squeezed Image is a simple problem and can be solved easily based on the situation.

1. Aspect Ratio Setting:
Open Menu and navigate to Aspect Ratio and change the aspect ratio that suits your best need.

2. Non Responsive Application Design:
Application does not fit the screen properly, In this case you may need to contact the application provider to help you with the responsive version of the app.

3. Screen Scaling Feature In Arya TV:
Navigate to Droid Settings >> Display Setting >> Screen Position / Screen Scaling >> Set your display according to your requirement.

4. Content Based Issues
An ideal aspect ratio for LED TVs is 16:9, Some older content and social media content are shot or edited in different aspect ratios. It is always suggested to play the content that fits the screen perfectly for best experience.

Aging mode is officially used to test the Response Rate, Dead pixels and do colour tests of the display.

Sometime, LED TVs do enter into aging mode accidentally and it has a quick fix to resolve.

To resolve the problem of aging mode in any Television, follow the simple steps.

1. Turn off the TV.
2. Unplug from the main power source.
3. Do a flea power technique by long pressing the power button for 5 seconds.
4. Plugin the power cord.
5. Once the power light of the TV glows, Press the "Stand By" button for 5 seconds and release.

This should fix the problem.

The visible circles and crystal drops on the screen looks like lights burning out of screen.
